Helen Trethewey is an experienced international educator with a deep passion for supporting neurodiverse students. With decades of expertise, Helen shares practical strategies that transform the educational journey for children with learning differences. Her work provides parents with hope and positive approaches, helping them navigate the challenges of raising neurodiverse children with confidence.
Helen is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism are understood and valued for who they are. Today, there is growing recognition that neurodiversity brings unique strengths alongside its challenges. However, without early and effective support, these children can face lifelong consequences that impact mental health and self-esteem.
Drawing from extensive experience working with students of all ages, Helen understands both parental concerns and the teacher’s perspective. As someone with dyslexia herself, she combines personal insight with her expertise as a teacher and inclusion leader. Her goal is to help educators and parents adopt practical, evidence-based strategies that can be implemented immediately.
Helen’s sessions reveal how deeply dyslexia, ADHD, and autism affect multiple areas of life—far beyond academics. Through her engaging and empowering approach, she helps audiences understand these challenges while offering actionable steps for meaningful support.
